A Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) offered at Indira School of Business Studies (ISBS) will help you gain a deep understanding of the fundamental concepts and business intricacies. The PGDM curriculum is dynamic and enhanced with continuous upgradation of knowledge from industry stalwarts. The PGDM program is AICTE approved and is run in 4 semesters with 3 specializations offered – Marketing, Finance and Human Resource. Summer Internship programs and live projects further accelerate the learning in the form of experiential learning and reduce the learning curve of management concepts.

During your two year PGDM program at ISBS, you will be equipped with a latest configuration laptop and an international study tour which is hallmark of the PGDM program. The industry visits covered both domestically and internationally will further aid in the learning process and provide a first-hand information of the corporate culture. With a good mix of theoretical learning and industry exposure, our curriculum is designed through Outcome Based Education (OBE). The assessment is based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)

Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Pune – OBJECTIVES

The admission process to PGDM program in Pune is purely merit based. Before applying for the admission process for ISBS PGDM Program, candidates must have a written test score of any of the following tests: AICTE-CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/G-MAT/ MH-CET.

Candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on their preferences of course/ shift.

Steps for Indira Common Admission Process (ICAP):

Stage 1: Registration for ICAP Candidates will fill up the ICAP online registration form for GD, PI and Counseling, available on www.icap.indiraedu.com

Stage 2: GD /PI and Counseling Process Candidates will be required to be present in their choice of the city for ICAP process of GD, PI and Counseling.

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate is declared eligible for PGDM Course, if he/she has passed the degree examination of a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks and minimum 45% marks for reserved category from any state of India. Such candidates' application must be accompanied with relevant caste certificates and non- creamy layer certificates at the time of confirming the admission. Absence of such certificates at the time of submitting the admission application form to the course, disqualifies them from reserved category seats and such candidates will be considered for open/general category. Final year degree students, who have not received their results will be allowed to appear for the admission process, provided, at the time of admission they need to have a certificate from their college/university that states them as a final year student awaiting results. Out of sanctioned seats 20% seats are to be filled under institute level seats. Of the remaining 80% seats 50 percent seats will be allocated to candidates from reserved category and remaining 50 percent for general category. Each Student has to complete 100 Credits to qualify for certification in the following manner:

a) 19 core Courses amounting to 49 Credits are compulsory for all students regardless of specialization.

b) Student would opt for specialization in Semester-II and have to complete all the 13 core specialization courses amounting to 39 Credits.

c) The remaining 12 credits he/she has to complete by opting for the specified number of electives from the set of electives being offered.

Multimedia Library

The library has a separate place exclusively devoted for a multimedia digital library section. It has 50 in-house PCs with all the A/V facilities. The library has one of the finest collections of academic reference videos and CDs comprising of national and international titles along with text book CDs at its video resource center. The library procures latest videos from sources such as Video Education and Harvard Business Resources. The library Video Resource Center helps enhance the inputs given to our students & makes learning a more enriching experience.
