The establishment of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Indira School of Business Studies PGDM (ISBS PGDM) aligns with the stipulations set forth by the regulatory body, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). In accordance with established norms, the guidelines prescribed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) pertaining to IQAC have been meticulously adhered to. The primary objective of IQAC is to integrate measures for the augmentation and perpetuation of quality within the institution's existing operational framework, fostering a continuous 360-degree approach in realizing the objectives of quality enhancement and sustenance. This initiative is designed to fortify the institute's quality enhancement framework, aspiring for academic excellence through the facilitation and execution of meticulously planned strategies unanimously agreed upon by its members.
Vision: To ensure quality culture as the prime concern for Indira School of Business Studies PGDM, through institutionalizing and internalizing all the initiatives taken with internal and external support.
Goals of IQAC:
The principal objectives of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) are:
1. Develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic actions aimed at enhancing the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
2. Promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through the internalization of a quality culture and the institutionalization of best practices
Strategies: IQAC endeavors to formulate mechanisms and procedures for:
1. Ensuring timely, efficient, and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial tasks.
2. Establishing relevant and high-quality academic/research programs.
3. Facilitating equitable access to and affordability of academic programs for diverse sections of society.
4. Optimizing and integrating modern methods of teaching and learning.
5. Ensuring the credibility of the assessment and evaluation process.
6. Guaranteeing the adequacy, maintenance, and proper allocation of support structures and services.
7. Sharing research findings and fostering networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
Functions of IQAC:
1. Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters.
2. Identification of parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
3. Facilitation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation for the adoption of requisite knowledge and technology in the teaching and learning process.
4. Assessment of feedback from all stakeholders to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of institutional processes.
5. Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders.
6. Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality-related themes, and promotion of quality circles.
7. Documentation of various programs/activities leading to quality improvement.
8. Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audits and their subsequent follow-up.
9. Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) in accordance with the guidelines and parameters set by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
